Tom Brady announced on Wednesday that he was “retiring for good” at the age of 45, one year after reversing his decision to quit the NFL. Brady said. “You only get one super-emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.”
Tom Brady, whose Tempa Bay Buccaneers team lost in the wildcard round of the NFL playoffs in December 2022, has made his retirement announcement on social media platform “Twitter”.
In his Twitter video Tom Brady said “Good morning, I’ll get to the point right away: I’m retiring for good”.. “My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever, there’s too many. Thank you, guys, for letting me live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all,” he said sitting by the beach.
Tom Brady won a record total seven Super Bowls, six of them with the New England Patriots before adding his final triumph with Tampa in the 2020 season.
Since than he seems struggling to be at the game and he finally made the announcement.

He further said “I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady said in a video on Twitter. “I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much to every single one of you for supporting me.”
In a 23-year career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady racked up a raft of elite records. He owns the most Super Bowl wins (7), as well as most passing touchdowns (649) and passing yards (89,214).
